Good location and furnishing but rooms are not good

Worst Experience: Nothing much

The hotel, Swagath is an average hotel. It has all the facilities one needs like swimming pool, Ayurveda (always locked), centrally AC(poor AC) and everything. The room service is pathectic and the attitude of the staff is very poor. The prices of there menu is as costly as any other good hotel, for example a bottle of some local 1 litre mineral water is Rs.35 Kovalam beach which I heard is one of the best beaches in India, is not as good as good as I expected after seeing Baga beach of Goa. Everything is damn costly and people are most unfriendly there. We stayed on the light house beach which is considered to be one of the most hip beach there, but there are no sunbeds available, no food and wine are served when u r on the beach. Sea food is available on the restaurant but only during the evening time. No changing rooms. Eve teasers are in plenty. The life guards are very bothering...they start whistling the moment you go 5 metres inside the water......it\'s good but for beach freindle people like me it\'s a truble nd interruption.

Best Experience: The rooms are big in size and the swimming pool is nice, clean and well maintained.

Worst Experience: We booked an MAP package(3 night s at Rs.11399 for 3 adults) where dinner and breakfast were included. On reaching when I asked what all cn we order on dinner I was told 1 non-veg dish, 1 veg dish 1 rice and 4 rotis for 3 adults.....as if it\'s a charity they are doing. On demanding and negotiating they said I can order anything worth 200 per head for dinner and 100 per head for breakfast from their menu. When I tried ordering they never gave me any fish or sea food items telling it\'s not in the package! It\'s a sick experience and not recommended.
