Gopuram is the name given to denote the entrance-way of Sathya Sai Ashram. Through this Ganesh Gate, Sathya Sai Baba leaves or comes back to the ashram. Built in the year 1975 as a birthday commemorative to Baba, the facade is adorned with an idol of Lord Ganesha. Constructed in the South Indian style of temple architecture, the Gopuram stands testimonial to the mythological beliefs that Lord Ganesha has the power to remove hindrances.
