First thing's first, for the day package you are only entitled for breakfast lunch and hi-tea and a few basic indoor amenities like carrom, pottery and archery. The equipment is extremely substandard, you have to pay for everything else. Coming to the food,it was not a very good experience,a common area for buffet without proper seating. Lunch menu is also very basic and taste is not a great part of it. Bevrages are very expensive. No proper activities for small groups of upto 3-4 people. No proper staff to look after the needs of customers. There is blatant discrimination between guests who stay at the property and who visit on day packages.Overall it was a bad experience and a beautiful Sunday ruined thanks to Guhantara. This was only for a day package and not stay
Excellent..Recently We celbrated Golden jubliee of my parents ..we had a lovely time .played lot of games,Spa was excellent ..Rain dance was energetic. Cave resort was a wonderful experience..Well maintained rooms..It was out of world experience. Txs Team Guhantara ðŸ’ðŸ’ðŸ’
Guhantara is India’s first ‘Cave’ theme resort located in Bengaluru. We visited Guhantara for a one day team outing. Sharing our experience here. From the entrance itself, one can get the feeling of the unique experience that Guhantara has to provide. The big classy gate is replaced with an ancient-style wooden bridge-gate over a small canal and the mouth of the cave is right after this gate. The reception area is also like a small cave/cellar. A long walk through a dark cave gives enough goose bumps as you pass by it to reach the activity area. Guhanara has lots of exciting activities to make everyone spend a fun filled day, be it a family or a small group or a bigger group or a large corporate group. I suggest you look at their site for their offerings. Our Experience : Breakfast : A very satisfactory breakfast spread consisting of: Boiled Eggs & Bread, Idli, Vada, Sweet Semiya, Poha, Upma and Lemon Rice. Everything was cooked fresh and served hot. It was a delicious start of the day. Team Building Activities: We had opted for the special team building activities. An experienced coordinator helped us play interesting team building activities. We learned a lot from this exercise and it helped us to be better team players. Other activities: Everyone then got busy with different games and activities. Cricket and volleyball were the most popular among the male members while the female members had fun with indoor activities like carrom board, chess etc. The enthusiastic folks had fun with Paintball, Trekking, Horse Riding, Bicycle riding, biking etc. The premises is sufficiently big for everyone to enjoy the outdoor games of their choice. Madhushala : Madhushala gives a different experience. Sit in a peaceful area that is dim lit like a cave, enjoy the sight and sound of the waterfall and have the drinks of your choice. A definite bliss! Lunch: Buffet lunch was served at their Sambhojana food court. Lunch was a scrumptious spread of veg and non-veg food items. The spread was balanced and had enough for both veg and non-veg food lovers. Swimming: By lunch time everyone was exhausted and hence swimming was the activity that everyone was looking forward to. Guhantara has three swimming pools – one smaller swimming pool, one bigger and one swimming pool adjacent to the waterfall. Water was very clean and every pool had attendants who were taking care of everyone’s safety. Rain Dance: By the time we all were enjoying in the pool the DJ started his music in the Rangamandapa. The music attracted everyone & in no time everyone started dancing to the beats. DJ was making the mood electrifying. Soon the showers started and the fun reached its epitome. Rain Dance is the best experience that anyone could have at Guhantara and not be missed. High-Tea: .A fresh cup of tea/coffee with bread pakora was the much-needed refreshment. Medical Emergency: We had a medical emergency with one team member. We got all the needed first aid and help. The doctor was available at the Ayurveda (spa) center, who immediately came with the first-aid kit and helped immediately. All the staff members were running for help and immediately helped with water, napkins, ice cubes etc. Bye-Bye: We left Guhantara with a lot of happy memories. The day spent here will surely remain in our memories forever. We promised ourselves to again come back soon to spend another great day at Guhantara. Next Time: Next time we would like to experience their overnight packages. Living in cave rooms will be an experience beyond imagination. Below pics will help enhance the experience of this blog. However, the best experience that anyone can have is only by visiting Guhantara.

We went for family dayout after looking to Cave theme which they live upto when you entered. Lot of outdoor activities for kids and adults like Horse riding, rope, fish spa, bull ride, quadbike, volleyball etc but make sure you select the activities and buy the tickets in one go else you have waste time in queue. All outdoor activities are chargeable. There are lot of indoor activities as well which are free. I find swimming pool little smaller. You can choose to visit once for sure if not more. Food is available in package and is average in nature.
i guess the only drawback is the distance from Bangalore. While drive would be pleasant for most part of it , yet , last few kms would be almost rally tracks. Car park can accomodate nothing less than 200 cars. the entrance gave the feeling of a cave . but the moment we crossed it , we saw a garden full of corporate people enjoying team bonding activities. badly searching for more caves as the entrance didnt impress much , we found large crowd on the left side of the path enjoying a lot of other activities. the field is big enough to accomodate at least 3 tennis-ball cricket matches . the resort has multiple activities which is very impressive. few of them are paid ones like Zorb Ball Rolling , Quard Biking, Horse riding. rest are free which includes cricket , archery , Table tennis , billiards , chess , carrom, volleyball etc. the resort has 3 swimming pools . the pool inside the dining area looks the best and most advertized. they host an hour of dance party with DJs which includes 30 mins of rain-dance. they have a bar with good stock.
Resort was awesome to stay, nice event activities, good food and drink. We spent some spectacular time in swimming pool, everything was good. Cost was the only concern. Took some time to reach the destination because of traffic. Cave resort looks awesome and spent some time in rain dance.

I travelled there by car. There was no problem to reach there. It was too far to reach other places and it was not that good. Location of the hotel was good. Appearance of the hotel was excellent. Booking and front office was good. Services of the hotel were very good. We did not stay there. We just went for a day. Food was very good according to quality and variety. We had non-veg buffet. Activities were excellent. As a tourist place, Bangalore is an excellent place to go. I visited there in a group in February. It was a relax kind of trip. Everything was good in this place. Staff of the hotel was good. They were giving on time service. No bad experience over there. It is value for our money.
