Hotel Review of Hampi Boulders
Comments: Overall a brilliant place to stay. The host Vikram takes complete care of all your needs and arranges all the excursions around the area (all included in your tariff). All the personal attention and the natural beauty of the surroundings makes for an excellent 2-3 day vacation. The host and staff are really friendly and will go out of their way to ensure that your stay is memorable.
Best Experience: Lots and lots of 'best' experiences. The host arranged for a free 1.5 hour taxi ride back from Hampi (as boat crossing was closed due to the President's visit), helped us plan activities at the pace that we wanted, took us personally on a surreal sunset bird-watching trip. Also don't miss the short trek around the resort to see some amazing rock formations in the river and some sleeping arrangements inside caves.
Worst Experience: Can't really term these as 'worst' experiences, but for the price I was paying, I would expect squeaky clean bathrooms and tastier food. These are two areas where there is some room for improvement, albeit not by much.

Hampi Boulders is a very unique Resort in the very sense that you cannot find any web site or advertisement for it which, as per the people who run it claim, as one of their core principles.
