Hotel Review of Modi Inn Ramakrishna
Comments: Our purpose of visit to Haridwar was to take a Holy dip in the Ganges at Har ki Pauri ghat on the occassion of Guru Purnima. The bathing experience i will tell in the overall review for Haridwar but i want to tell you about my exp. in this Hotel, where we were put up by our Rickshaw-wala.
Best Experience: 1. The location of this hotel is good, right on the main road of Haridwar, opposite Railway Station and 1 km from Bus Station.
2. One can just come out of the Hotel and get a Cycle-Rickshaw or Auto towards Har-ki-Paudi.
3. One surprise was the food which was much better then served at all the Vaishno Bhojnalayas all over Haridwar and surprise no. 2, Rates were same as what Chotiwalas n all cool guys were charging.
Worst Experience: 1. The Tea served at this Hotel is the worst i ever had anywhere, if one has a craving for huge quantities of Sugar and dirty crockery than this is the place to be.
2. The room service test the patience of its occupants, the guys do come but after sending rounds of reminders.
3. The water camper or thermus that we were supplied, tested our skill of getting water from it, water used to come out in a slow trickle even though the button was pushed deep inside. All our complaints fell on deaf ears.
4. Believe it or not, our room had no locking system from inside even the aluminium 'chatakhni' was just clinging on to the door.
