One best place I have ever stayed. I slept in the room on the ground floor clean, big enough, bathroom okay. The owner, who lives with his son, is welcoming and discreet. She helped us find a place to sleep in the city where we'd moved, calling you by your phone numbers of hotels. Breakfast available (in the kitchen, on the terrace or in the conservatory entrance). I highly recommend it, I spent three nights sleeping well (no noise) and feeling like was at home.

We spent a few days during November at this hotel. We were warmly welcomed and were soon become part of family. Rooms are spacious and clean. The accommodation wonderfully clean and very tidy. Lovingly prepared food was unique. Once again a big thank you for the kind hospitality.

Hotel is located near bus station. This pleasant guest house very pleasantly surprised us. The room was clean and spacious, large bathroom. We had a balcony overlooking a garden full of greenery. Fantastic. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

We spent 5 days in Gokarna and we stayed in this lovely hotel. The room are spacious, each room has its own balcony where you can sunbathe and enjoy. Excellent simple breakfast that is not included in the room price, but the costs are really minimal. The couple who run it are very friendly and sympathetic.

We spent 3 nights in this guesthouse simple and well run by a very friendly family. They welcomed in the morning with a smile. Despite our complaints to the owner, she always kindly answered and patience of a saint. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The hotel is a little away from the bustle of the 2 main streets in a nice little street. A local restaurant is 50 - 100m away (on the corner of the main street), it is run by two lovely brothers who serve you delicious local dishes. Do not miss the banana buns for breakfast.

First of all I would like to convey my gratitude to Mr.Anand and Mrs. For homely hospitality. Haripriya residency is stones throw distance from KSRTC bus stand. The rooms are very decent and stay was really cool. Gokarna beach and Sri Mahabaleswar temple is five mintues walk from it. This place is not only for religious and the spiritual but also to rejuvenate themselves from bustling cities.

Regards. Satya and Valentina.

gooooooooooooood. The place is very beautiful. But pity on government for not keeping it well maintained. I went to Goa from here and wondered how much more beautiful Gokarna was, but lack of facilities and management is a showstopper.

Best Experience: the host and hostess.

Worst Experience: the beaches are not managed well. dirty and full of dung. Off topic, there is a Kamath Upachar restaurant in Ankola, avoid it if you are Indian. Here foreigners are prefered to Indians.

We planned a two day stay in Gokarna along with our family consisting of 12 members in total. We looked up in the net and found good feedback for Haripriya Residency. We booked for our stay well in advance. Upon reaching the place, we felt a bit anxious looking at the exterior of the building. But our thoughts of anxiety drained off no sooner than we got into the house. It was our first experience of home stay. We had excellent service in all the five rooms we occupied with every need of ours being taken care. Mr and Mrs Anand took great care to make us feel relaxed and comfortable.Be it in serving us piping hot tea/coffee, preparing home made lunch/dinner, providing medical attention when we fell sick, playing with our kids or arranging a quick birthday party for us; they made us experience a perfect holiday atmosphere. We enjoyed a much dreamier stay than we imagined. We left with heavy hearts and definetely wish to return again. Despite being located away from the beach this place is highly worthy of stay for its hosts and their hospitality, not to mention its humble price

Best Experience: Perfect hospitality, home away from home with complete privacy, arrangement for sight seeing, arrangement for pooja in temple, calm and serene atmosphere.

Worst Experience: None

I booked 3 rooms for 9 ppl at this place on phone. They took reservation just on trust with no advance money. Rooms are clean and are for 2 people but they provide extra bed for 3rd person if you ask for. It costed Rs.500 per room + Rs.100 for each extra bed. Rooms are clean, got spacious bathrooms with showers and western toilet. Its very close to bus stand, ATM and the famous PAI restraunt. Towels were provided in each room. Owners are really friendly and they stay in the ground floor below the rooms.
