Hotel Review of Barefoot at Havelock Jungle Resort
Comments: I'd really recommend the barefoot resort. Staff were friendly, the resort was fantastic, the beach itself unbelievably beautiful. We went during the off season & expected some rains however the weather stayed warm & sunny. Not much to do except snorkel & dive & that I think was the BEST part of the holiday. Food was the only thing that was slightly disappointing.

It was one of the most beautiful beaches I have visited....with hills covered with a thick jungle as a backdrop. You could go trekking.... There is a natural small lagoon which is enchanting. The beauty of the sea, the beach, thick trees and hills all together at one place was absolutely amazing. The resort itself is beautiful with lovely and very private accomodation.in the nicobari cottages...with all modern amenities yet very ethnic and one with nature. The food was delicious....

Resort is placed in a very exotic place. But those totally dislike the Snakes, should avoid visiting the resort in the monsoon. It's a theme resort and does not have the path lamps.You will depend on high power torch light. Resort in inbetween a very dense old Rain forest. Just 100 mtrs away from the a Beautiful beach. Al together the resort will give you a feeling of adventuring in a untouched ieland....

I cannot say enough about the location. Beach No.7 truly deserves it title as the Best Beach in Asia. Barefoot Resort is the only resort that is located just behind this beach. The place is fantastic. We loved the rooms and the laid-back approach to everything. The resort is quite a melting pot. Wonderful ambience in the lounge with like minded people of all nationalities interacting freely....

Absolutely amazing! I thought the monsoon would prove to be a dampner. It did rain, but not enough to spoil the holiday. The rooms are fabulously crafted - amazing what they have done with wood and cane, and thatch leaves: so much luxury. Bathrooms are simply divine. Although the weather was iffy, they still managed to give us a few great excursions: snorkelling trips, kayaking through the mangroves and learning scuba diving.
