Havelock Island food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Amazing sea food at cheap prices. Coconuts not to be missed. Radhanagar is the most beautiful beach in the world. The water is aquamarine. The trees are hundreds of years old. No shacks or filth. White sand. Not more than a 100 people on the beach at one time. It was heaven on earth, if there is one. I loved it.

Hotel Review of SeaShell Beach Resort
Comments: Havelock itself is a wonderful place that even a real bad hotel can make you feel good. I'm trying to be objective in my review. Seashell is located on a beautiful seaside (not much of sandy beach there though) and a stroll around there in moonlight lifts your spirits up. The credit goes to the place and not the hotel. The hotel has reasonably good rooms, and amenities and surroundings, though they lack severe in utility aspects. The room itself is dimly lit and dark. There are plenty of fly's around. Their service is pathetic (response time, and quality of response to requests), their food is too monotonous and boring, buffets are served cold (with no warming up spirit lamps), boys at the restaurant seem hurried all the time.
Best Experience: The best experience is the place, and a moonlight stroll around the sea side close to the hotel
Worst Experience: Food served cold. Rude response from their staff (I asked for a beer at 9:00 PM, and got a response 'sir, ladke log chale gayen' while it was written there that bar is open till 11PM. I asked him why he's written it so when there are no people, got a response 'Sir, bolaa na, nahin milega' and the boy just walked off to the kitchen). They have electricity breakdowns, and had to repeatedly ask for a candle and was granted one, with a condition 'Andar mat le ja naa, allowed nahin hein'. I had to make some changes in my trip, and no one took the responsibility of coordination. The place has toomany flies, and inspite of having fly-flash machines, they didnt turn them on (And I was literally swatting them away with one hand while eating).
Well, these are perhaps there as the industry isnt big there goa or other places, but they need to be careful of providing value for money to customers.
If you have a short-temper, you may end up ruining your holidays at seashell.
Overall it appeared they seemed to be maximizing their proffits at the cost of comfort of its guests.

Hotel Review of SeaShell Beach Resort
Seashells is a nice resort for a holiday. The rooms are very clean and organic. Toilets are spotless and the overall closeness to sea (private beach) is stunning....
