Heaven on earth with the mist covered mountains to th sweet streams on the backyard everything about this place is fascinating and awe inspiring...

The road to Porcupine Castle is not good. It was touch for us to reach in the midnight. However, the service, food, activities and location of the resort were so good that we forgot the problem with the road. There are improvements needed in terms of maintaining the rooms more tidy.

Best Experience: The coffee plantation trip in the jeeps is the best adventure activity some of us ever did in life.

Worst Experience: There were some insects, flies in rooms which may be see away the cusotmers. Also, some rooms could not be locked due to issue with lock which may cuase doubts on the safety.

It was really a good resort.All the resort people were going the extra mile to make us comfortable. Food was amazing,everything was fresh and tasty.Any change/request we had was easily done for us.Once we wanted one of the buffet starters to be brought to room,as we wanted to munch on something and it was raining.They readily agreed and sent one person with the starters.They even went to the extend of looking after the kid,so that we can have a peace full breakfast/dinner.

Best Experience: The food and the location of the resort was ultimate.Best experience was the tour of the tree house .Though it was very late,as we showed interest they took us to the tree house for a visit.More than the tree house,i was touched by their hospitality

Worst Experience: Nothing much...the room was not cleaned the next day and i had to call them and initiate the cleaning.The process was that only if we leave the keys with them and explicitly say ,they clean the room(for privacy sake).I felt they should have highlighted this so that we come to know of it.But on call,2 people came immediately for cleaning.

We were a family of 4 who stayed at Porcupine Castle in April 2011. Hotel Porcupine Castle is perched atop a small hill and has gorgeous 360 degree view of the valley. Rooms are nice and spacious with all modern furnitures. The hotel staff is courteous. Overall a good experience although the room rate seemed a little high (Rs. 5000 per night) compared to the facilities.

I am writing this review of ?The Porcupine Castle resort? at Coorg after our 4 days (6th to 9th Sep 2011) stay in his resort. After being in the crowded city of Bangalore, we wanted to take a break from the usual routine and be in a place that was peaceful, relaxing and a god place for the entire family. Our travel agent booked us at the Porcupine castle resort. We had visited their site and we found it to be good and hence decided to go with our travel agent?s choice. From the minute we reached this resort, we felt we were in a completely different world. The resort is quite new (has been functioning only for the last 2 years) and believe me this place is breathtaking. We were welcomed by very friendly people from the resort. The booking was done perfectly and the room was ready when we landed there. We really loved the location of this resort at Pollibetta. Absolutely silent and you see greenery all around. The rooms are very neat and the food was awesome. I would say this is a fantastic place for the entire family, for couples and also for a group of friends. The resort is well located and most of the important places in Coorg are easily accessible by road from this resort. The biggest plus point are the people who maintain this resort. Starting from their Director (Brijesh), the resort managers (Vivin and Jobish) and all the staff of this resort are so friendly and make you feel so comfortable. They have stuff for the kids as well like some indoor games and the camp fire during late evening was too good. One thing I would advise all tourists who go to this resort is to take the planation tour. Brijesh (the Director of this resort) took us in his jeep and this 120 minute ride was just out of the world. This gentleman has so much of information and knowledge about the coffee plantation that you really pray that this ride should not end soon. We enjoyed every second of this 120 minute tour. Hats off to Brijesh and his team for providing us such a wonderful holiday. We promised them that we will come back soon and my children have already started planning for their next trip to the same resort. Pack your bags and go to the Porcupine Castle.
