Silvassa food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Food and alcohol are very economical in Silvassa. Hotel Pioneer serves good breakfast & meals. Dan tourist hotel is an economical hotel which serves excellent food. Café Bingo is a good hangout fro evening tea and snacks
Once in Silvassa you have to visit the gardens in the early evening to enjoy the pleasant breeze & capture their beauty. Places that you should not miss are Vandhara Udyan & Piparia Garden. The tribal Cultural Museum is worth a short visit to get an insight into the tribal lifestyle. If you have the time and a vehicle you can enjoy a long and pleasant drive to Dudhni where you can indulge in water sports. You can also take a long boat ride & have a picnic lunch in the island that’s at the centre of the lake.
There are not many things that you can shop at in Silvassa. Its more a place for relaxation

Hotel Review of Hill View Resort
Comments: i had gone with my family(mom,dad and my brother). the resort is great. the swimming pool is great too. they have an in-house dj. when we checked in, the dj was playing music at full blast. it was just a great atmosphere.the food was superb. u have the options of having lunch and dinner poolside. it was a great experience having dinner by the poolside. we stayed in royal suite rooms. the rooms were simply great. they have a restaurant too. the indoor games are good too.
the resort size areawise is actually very small compared to other resorts in silvassa. 3 resorts are very close by here. hill view,khanvel,golden pond. hill view is the smallest of them. khanvel resort is actually just beside it.
Best Experience: rooms were great, food was great. the dj playing the music livened the atmosphere. the sound effects were awesome. the service was great too.
Worst Experience: the size of the resort is small compared to others in silvassa. so there was limited roaming around within the resort. khanvel being just beside it makes the location a little bad. because it is quite clear that the size of khanvel is big compared to hill view. infact u get a view of khanvel from the restaurant at hill view and it makes you wonder why you didn't go to khanvel in the first place. but hill view is your money's worth for everything else apart from the total area.(the rates at khanvel are higher too). in the end we wanted to stay for more time
