The lovely place, the home , the food, the service coupled with the lovely weather and the scenic beauty made this holiday worth remembering. Everything was perfect except that you have to travel a little bit to reach the place.
Location was great. It was well maintained as it was a homestay.Mr.Joyappa was very helpful in getting us food and other things. Everything was good actually.
It is a beautiful, quiet place with a river flowing next to it. There is lawn on both sides of river where we could sit and enjoy the view. The view was amazing!! Food was good, made by the caretaker there who are hospitable. The rooms are clean, maintained well though it looks like a old house. Just outside the rooms is lawn well-maintained. Quite reasonable price and we had a relaxing and good experience. Ideal for 2 -3 families to go for a long weekend trip. Not sure for just a couple.
It was very good experience in Hillyside, rooms are very good and food is also nice. It has large hall. Mr. Joyappa prepared good food both veg and nonveg. We got full freedom to use the resources. Finally, at night firecamp was good. In short we had quality time after long time in Hillyside. Thanks to owner of Hillyside (sorry I don't remember his name) and Joyappa. If they can arrange one guide to visitors who can take us to good viewpoints and tracking and arrange some adventures games nearby then it will be excellent.
I was quite not convinced at the time of booking. But when I reached this place I was awestruck by the beauty of nature surrounding. The cottage was located in the bank of a huge river and surrounded by the coffee estate. The care taker was so helpful in helping me locate this place. It was very clean and very old fashioned that made my vacation the best of all. I will give 5 star rating for the food. It was so authentic and delicious. I will surely recommend this place for my friends and really looking forward to come again.
