Ramgarh was my family's choice for a short and sweet break from our daily routine. After a tiring journey we made our way to the hotel. Thanks to the decent number of hotel sign boards that made our life easier. The hotel which is situated on a hill have their very own parking space, not a concrete one though. We were taken aback by the first glimpse of the hotel which looked just like a pictorial representation of a house from the english era with creepers covering much of the hotel exterior. We were greeted by the hotel manager who helped us settle down in our rooms on the 1st floor. The entire hotel had wooden flooring, quality of which was poor. They have a fireplace in each room, a recreation room on the first floor, a dining area on the ground floor, a kitchen in a separate building in the backyard, a very well maintained garden in the front with tables overlooking the valley. The hotel has a large orchard of apples and a variety of fruits, though one of glitches was poor cellular network, also the satellite TV connection was poor. Hotel staff were very impressive though only around 5 in number. The manager in particular made every effort to make us comfortable. Food was freshly prepared according to the guests preferences. View of sunset and sunrise from the hotel is breathtaking.
What a destination. I would like to go again. Hotel is good along with very good service. Food is great. Room service is proper, as it should be. Best part is it is so affordable. I think if you are planning a to Meerut then this is a hotel for you. I will recommend it to all my friends.
The location was convenient for travel and it was about fifteen minutes drive from bus stop. The appearance of the hotel was really nice and hospitality was excellent. The staff members were helpful and courteous in behaviour. The room allotted was spacious and very well maintained with all the needful amenities provided in good condition. The food provided in the hotel was good in taste and quality and price was not expensive. There was no activity conducted by the hotel but play ground was provided for games. The money spent on the hotel was totally worth it and services were just excellent.
Ramgarh Experience Me and my friends were fed up of the monotonous daily routine. We wanted to break free from the city life and rest in peaceful environment away from the madding crowd. It was then decided to make a trip to Ramgarh and we soon set off to an 8-hour journey to rejuvenate our souls. We soon reached the secluded hill station and checked in one of the lodges, Himalayan View Retreat. The fresh air flowing through the window took away with it, my tiredness and I felt energized like never before. After resting for a while, we sojourned to explore the peace and tranquility in the lap of Himalayas. An unobstructed view of the snow-capped ranges, breathtaking sights of Nanda Devi and Trishul peaks of Himalayas, a trek into the mountains, a visit to orchards and meandering in the dense forests relieved our mind, body and soul. We never realised how the three days went off so quick. And it was the time to confront the same noisy city . And when I am here in the struggling metro again, I become nostalgic and wonder how can nature display all its beauty and charm at the same place.
