Itinerary:
Day 1 - Ahmedabad airport / railway station
Depart for hotel from Ahmedabad airport / railway station .On arrival check into hotel. After refreshment local sightseeing of Ahmedabad -Ahmedabad is known for its many impressive monuments. Visit the 15th and 16th century mosques and mausoleum complexes that are excellent examples of the provincial Indo-Saracenic style of Gujarat, the works of Le Corbusier and Luis Kahn, the Gandhi Ashram and the many excellent museums. Return to hotel.
Dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 2 - Ahmedabad
After breakfast will go for a morning Heritage walk in the walled city offers a good opportunity to see a variety of domestic and religious architecture. Evening free for leisure.Dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 3 - Ahmedabad - Lothal - Ahmedabad (60kms)
After breakfast will travel to Lothal, excavations of a Harrappan site dating to the 2400-1600 B.C period known for its scientifically designed dockyard town planning and sophisticated drainage system.
Return to hotel.Dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 4 - Ahmedabad - Junagarh (350kms/6hrs)
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and travel to Junagadh. One of the most historic cities of Gujarat, Junagadh has 3rd century B.C edicts of emperor Ashoka. The city has a historic Fort, Buddhist caves, museums and royal mausolem complexes among its attractons. The Jain Temples atop Mt. Girnar overlooking Junagadh are among the finest in Gujarat.
Return to hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 5 - Junagarh - Khambalida - Gondal (65kms/1hr-20mints)
Drive to Gondal via the Buddhist caves of Khambalida. An affluent princely town, Gondal's Darbargadh (palace complex) is a festival of stone carvings and other historic buildings like the Schools are really grand.
Day 6 - Gondal - Rajkot (40kms/50mints) - Bhuj (240kms/4hrs-20mints)
Drive from Gondal to Bhuj via historic Rajkot, known for being the city of Mahatma Gandhi who went to school here. Visit the Watson museum at Rajkot. On arrival at Bhuj, see the palaces, cenotaphs and other buildings commissioned by the Maharaos of Kutch who ruled from the 1540s to the 1940s.
Day 7 - Bhuj - Dholavira (130kms/2hrs-20mints) - Mehsana (260kms/4hrs-30mints)
Drive from Bhuj to Dholavira one of the largest citadels of the Harrappan Civilization. Dholavira's archaeological site is best known for its water retaining structures. Departure to Mehsana for night stay.
Day 8 - Mehsana - Patan (52kms/1hr) - Modhera (35kms/50mints) - Vadodara (210kms/3hrs-40mints)
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Patan, which has one of the grandest 11th century stepwells in India, and 11th century Sun Temple at Modhera, an Architectural masterpiece. Continue past Ahmedabad to Vadodara. Once the capital of Baroda princely state, one of the richest princely states in india, Vadodara has majestic Palaces, college buildings and museums. Check-in to the hotel.

Day 9 - Vadodara - Pavagarh - Champaner - Vadodara airport / railway station
Day excursion to Pavagadh-Champaner archaeological zone, a UNESCO-declared World Heritage site. Within this zone can be seen 11th century temples, historic palace ruins, stepwells and tanks, and some of the finest works of 15th-16th century Indo-Saracenic architecture like the Jama Masjid. Take a flight or train out from Vadodara.
