In the month of January I visited this hotel for business purpose with friends. The trip was good. The location was average and quite crowded. The hotel location was good. The appearance was very good and it was neat and clean. The front office also good and quite warmth and the staff's also behaved well and my booking was done through online. The room was so good. The service was also average and because it was quite expensive. The food and drink also average and WiFi was available. The overall it was a good experience and the outer appearance what I liked the most.
The hotel where I stayed was good and located near to the city. It was little close to public transports. The surrounding of the hotel was good and covered with full of coffee estates. The three BHK room was good with hills and greenery view from it. The room allotted to me was spacious, neat and clean with fine pillows and bed sheets. All amenities were in working condition. The staff maintained restroom clean and hygienic regularly. They provided hot-cold water facility but there were power fluctuation issues. The staff in the hotel were very friendly. They helped us in getting food from restaurant especially tea. They served non-veg food in reasonable price. There was no delay in check-in and check-out. Overall, service provided by the management was good. The hotel management organised activities but I did not utilize it, as I was busy in my enjoyment. They did not organise any sightseeing. Finally, the destination was superb. I can definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers. As I told earlier, they need to work on power issues. It was a family trip to this hotel.
The resort is a little far from the city but the view from the resort is breathtaking, especially the view from the restaurant on top floor, it drops down to the valley. The service was good. Booked a package and got a good deal. I went there with friends but since it was away from the city found it difficult to travel to other places. It is place for a budget romantic getaway but it is not recommended if you want to stay near the city to visit tourist spots. The rooms were small but the service and food were great.
It was an above average hotel offering reasonable rates during the family holiday trip. It was a modern hotel located in the busy area with the neat and clean surroundings. The hotel and rooms are not spacious. Staff provided good service and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Food and beverages were supplied and we managed to do self-service. Checking in and out procedures was promptly done. Parking space was limited and had to park on the roadside. Swimming pool and gym were not provided and we did not demand for these facilities.
It was a sudden trip to Munnar with my friends. We first started from our home then we decided that we will be going to Munnar. We went on a road trip in a Toyata Qualish. So we were bit tired when we reached Munnar and Holly Hock was the exact place we were looking for to just relax for some time and start for site seeing. The room was big enough so that four of us can accommodate in it. And when we saw the balcony we fell in love with it. The valley view from it was unexplainable one have to feel it. The staff at Holly Hock were really good and polite. They took care of us in the very best way they can. The restaurant is good you get the valley view and you will be dining with the mist. I have decided that when ever I go to Munnar I will stay at Holly Hock . . About Munnar its a very good place to just go relax with the nature. And can do bird watching and listen to there beautiful songs and humming. If you like drinking then you have to be little unhappy because its little difficult to get some. I have seen all the three major hill station in south India. And I would tell that after Kodaikanal I have liked Munnar and then Ooty. This is my experience and it could be different with different people. If someone want to relax with the nature and walk with the mist, one have to go to Munnar. Best time to visit Munnar is Nov to February.
