Over all my stay with the Meera hotel was very good. Room was very spacious fully furnished. Bathroom was also very neat and clean. Food served during the stay was nice more like home food. The connectivity to the hotel is good with very approach able from the Udaipur Bus Stand. The entrance with lobby was good for having sitting and discussion with friends. Ambiance of the hotel is good and staff are very costumer friendly.
This hotel is for budget travellers in udaipur . No frills but the best value for money. Rooms are big with TV , Air conditioned / non air conditioned - tariff depends on A/C rooms cost more . Bath rooms are big and comfortable - hot water is tricky . Staff very polite and helpful - radiating the old world...

I had been to Udaipur the city of lakes in april 2013 with my family. I stayed in Hotel Meera in front of St. Meera Girls College. The location is excellent with Sukhadia circle very near which is a popular tourist place famous for cheap outdoor eating centers. Meera Hotel is modestly priced and since it was off season I could get a AC double room for around 1500+ taxes. Room Service is good and you can order for food from the hotel kitchen. The last time I had gone to Udiapur was in 1998 and loved the city for its beautiful lakes , clean roads and general laid back ambience. After 15 years it is still unspoilt and the beauty of the place is it is uncrowded like the other tourist places. The city palace is very well maintained. The lakes are clean and the boat ride enjoyable. The city admin has also introduced cable car to the hill top where you have a temple. You can have a wonderful view of the city from there with the surrounding lakes and the city palace below. You can have all types of food in Udaipur and I especially loved the rajasthani fare. Other places of interest in Udaipur are haldi Ghati , Nathdwara temple , Saheliyon Ki Bari and some more. I have fallen in love with Udaipur and plan to make a trip once more as soon as I can.
Hotel is in the City, near to Sukhariya Circle and Saheliyon Ki Baari. The travellers location, Moti Magri, Lake is very near(2-3 KM) from here. Best part is Chopati Market is at walking distance from this hotel. At low price the rooms and service is good. Also the food is good too. Good for family stay. Hotel is quite large, but unmanaged and room service is average, and front desk is not active while night hour, but price range is quite good and in centre of Udaipur. Average experience in this trip
