All types of food is available for vegeterians & non-vegeterians.Sight seeing is great......ooty lake,botanical garden,rose garden....or u can move to paykara lake...c the pine forests,dam...or go to coonoor...sim's park,tea gardensdolphin nose etc.Shopping is nothing great...except some oils....spices...& ooty carrots.

This hotel has deluxe rooms and ordinary double rooms. Stay away from the double rooms as they are leaky, horribly decorated and resemble a college dormitory housing at best. The food is completely vegetarian at the restaurants, but you can order...

This hotel's the epitome of the malaise that Ooty is suffering from - crass commercialism. Horribly overpriced (a deluxe room with a tariff of 2000/- plus taxes a day got me a cubby hole with smelly bedsheets and dirty napkins...
