The room and service overall was OK. But the washrooms were too small just like a cupboard the service was really quick. The food was also very nice. Good for a business stay but for family vacation not a recommended hotel. The television had a lot of channels. Location was nice near to many places in between . The breakfast was really nice.
NEgatives. 1) People can be seen walking or standing at the window causing invasion of privacy. Future guests should avoid first floor, if privacy is a concern, and get rooms above first floor. However, the curtains are good enough to avoid any see through. 2) Food at the cafe is expensive. 3) Quantity in Buffet is not great. Positives. 1) High level of cleanliness maintained in room, washroom and common areas in the hotel. 2) Location is central in Bangalore city and easy access to various locations with taxi or Auto. 3) Good sound proofing and minimal noise in rooms. 4) Very close to the city centre and easy accessible to local transport additional benefit of having Zoom car self driving pick up point at the parking. Advice. Try to get room on higher floor and also try to check in early. Standard Hotel not to expect much things
I stayed in Hotel ibis in the month of January 2017. It was a holiday trip with family. The destination is excellent as I liked Vidhana Soudha. My location of the hotel is excellent, as it was convenient to reach from Madiwala. The appearance of the hotel was excellent since the building glass was neat. The front office was excellent as they arranged in front like river water flowing was very good. I booked the room directly. The overall services were excellent but we stayed here for less time so we did not take more service. The room was very good but was not very spacious. Food was excellent in quality and with complimentary breakfast. I will recommend this hotel.
Stayed here for 1 night and worth every penny. The dinner & breakfast were excellent with good taste. Enjoyed stay & delicious food. The hotel is very clean with a huge restaurant and a small bar on the ground floor. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. It made me feel like I am at home. There is a huge variety of dishes in the restaurant. The staff are good and helpful 24/7. Spacious parking and many shopping malls nearby. I advise you to mark your presence in ibis city centre.
Though it is new hotel in city centre but does not look new, services are poor, rooms are very small, staff is clueless about things, not managed properly. A unit of famous chain of business hotels IBIS, this is not of standards to be called as star property Think before you decide. I visited them for a night stay and it was very bad for me. Reached at midnight, it was just like a local lodge, staff don't know much about. Room given was in shabby condition, very small to even walk within No kitchen at midnight and to my surprise to room service, no amenities and if you need anything you have to pay for it. With one bottle of water in room, do they really think it is sufficient for drinking and getting tea also in morning While you pay through your nose, you don't get amenities and services. It was to my shock when in morning they said, no newspaper in room, you have to come down to lobby to read newspaper Anyways decided not to come back again.
I am biased towards this hotel for many reasons. It's a no frills hotel which works well for short stays and when I need to just spend a few hours to crash in. The standard rooms and amenities are good enough. The rooms are very clean and tidy and true to the Ibis promise. The breakfast spread is very good and something that I look forward to Being located a stone's throw away from the office, it makes all sense for me to prefer this hotel. Having stayed in quite a few Ibis properties overseas, I can easily compare them with this.
