I went to Abu last December from Ahmedabad with my three friends, I went by train. Train departure at 11.15 Pm late night. We reach Abu Road on 5.30 Am next day. From Abu we went to Mount Abu by bus. Bus dropped us at 7.30 Am. Cool atmosphere at that time. We took some tea-snacks and start the trip. First we went at Nakki Lake.
I am very pleased with the service provide by the Patel staff. All staff have very nice understanding with the traveller. I am very happy that I have travelled to Mount Abu with my family. It is very nice place. And also the sunset point is awesome. The service provided by the bus staff are also appreciated. Be careful in one thing that you have to follow the time limit provided by the bus staff. Otherwise just because of you all the traveller have mismanaged the schedule.
Its very common to go to Mount Abu by car. There are very nice places to visit on the way of Mount Abu like Khedbrahmma, Ambaji, Mehsana etc. CNG pumps are also available up-to Mount Abu. Right depart time is late night from Ahmedabad and reach early morning to Ambaji for Grand Arti. Its memorable journey.
One fine day we friends decided to go on a trip to Mt. Abu. The very next day we took one of our friend's car and at early morning we headed for Mt. Abu. The route is very well-facilitated with restaurants, dhabas, petrol pumps and accommodations. One can even take the route of Mehsana-Ambaji and visit the temple. We opted NH-8. The journey was fun with friends.
The train time was at night and as it was a 7 hours journey and we reached Mount Abu early morning. Then we took a taxi and reached Mount Abu within 1 hour. After that we went to Cama Rajputana and got a room. The hotel was superb. On the first day we stayed in the hotel and enjoyed its amenities and the next day we went for sightseeing. We started with Adhar Devi and at evening we went to the sunset point. It was a very pleasant journey and you should definitely visit this place once.
