I had a lot of good experiences will travelling by train . I had lot of fun in the train. Stations on the way had lots of funny things to see. The train had enough food and water facilities. Over all a very good experience.
It is a very good travel experience, nice place to enjoy. As far as city destinations goes, Mumbai is the best we have in this wonderful country of India. It is an eclectic mix of fast paced city life, history, culture, great street food, exciting, full on masti with joint family trip of around 35 people. Enjoyed a lot and the best thing is it should be enjoyed with a family or a group. It's the best journey with my joint family.
There are good options to travel from Bombay to Ahmedabad i.e. by road, by train and by air. I used to go by air for business tours and will leave by morning flight of Jet Airways and it always gave me the same pleasure. The crew was so nice and supportive. They provided the food on-board. I can reach by morning and finish all my meetings and can come back by same Jet Airways by evening.
In the beginning I would tell everybody, that please donít ever travel by government bus as itís little cheaper but very irritating.
I always travel by bus but those are nice and smooth. One month ago I decided to go to Mumbai because I heard so much about Mumbai that its very unique and very good place to visit. According to me the best time for travelling was early in the morning because your mind is fresh at that time and you can clearly feel the beauty of nature by opening the window of the bus. Non AC was a good option for a middle class family or an individual and I think it also depends on the traveller because what he or she is comfortable with is the best option for him/her.
My journey was very comfortable and stable. It was a superfast bus and there were no more stops except for the big cities. The seats were good and awesome but there was only one problem and that was the entertainment option was not there. No TV, no movie, no DVD and documentary. That was only the problem and also food option was also not there. But the outside atmosphere was awesome and beautiful and we donít need anything else.
