From Sealdah there is Ajmer and Annanya express and from Howrah there is Jodhpur express. These trains stop at Agra fort station. Donot ever board the Toofan express from Howrah. It is the worst train.

From Kolkata - Purba Express, Agra Express from Chitpur much preferable for visit Agra. Other like Jodhpur Express, Ajmer Express, Pratap Express reach Agra after 6 p.m. which is troublesome. Best Time February-March and September-November when sky is clear.

Agra is well-connected with all major cities of India. You must avoid the summer months as it is extremely hot there. Also beware of touts who will try to take you to particular hotels or shops.

Agra is well connected by train. Agra contonment, Agra fort stations cater to numerous trains. The local Kheria Airport, is not a busy one. The nearest airport for all aspect is New Delhi, about 250 kms. By road, Agra is well connected with Delhi (NH2 & NH8), Jaipur, Gwalior.
