How to Reach: It is very well connected by Indian Railway (Northern Railway). Babatpur (25km away from Main City) is the airport. Nearest biggest City - Allahabad. (Avoid bumpy, sweaty, crowdy bus ride in UP :)) Main City: Starts from Nadesar (Near Cantonment Area) to BHU (also called Lanka), Stretch of 15km Travel Tips: 1.People speak and understand Hindi very well. Use Hindi if possible to convey your message. 2.Ask for fare (and negotiate) before riding auto-rickshaw. 3.Take help from local people as much as you can. Warnings: For safety, don't believe on strangers and sometime police (after all they are also strangers :)). Take care of yourself and your belongings.

Take a taxi to Sarnath or Ramnagar fort, since roads are very bad and auto can be hard on your back, and not necessarily much cheaper. Local traveling is mostly cycle rickshaws or autos.
