Please make sure you don't travel during the monsoons because the sea gets rough and the ferry services are discontinued till monsoon gets over..However some of the ferry operators ignore the rule and run the ferry which is very dangerous.. Don't fall for the old ladies who offer to get their pictures clicked..they start asking you for money once its done.. Look out for the locals who I feel are waiting for an opportunity to rip off visitors... Dont mess with the monkeys... If you are the nature types and wary enough you could have a good time with your friends family etc..

Catch a ferry early so you get good time to see and explore the beauty of the island.The last ferry on return is at 5:30 pm.There are no facilities for overnight stay-though there are a number of good restaurants for lunch / snacks.
