Train journey offers beautiful views and the trains was in excellent condition. Everything was clean and green. There was no disturbance and I felt complete privacy. Travellers were very friendly and refreshment stall in all stations were welcoming. Would again choose the same train for my next travel.
I travelled using Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) multiple times on various routes. Most of the time experience was quite good with a couple of bad experiences. It is a bit late few times but over all quality is good. One of the best services available starting from Bangalore with reasonable price. Some bad experiences like when my wife travelled alone, she had to pay extra money for luggage (there was only one bag).
We booked the ticket with SpiceJet for Bangalore to Goa for 28th December, 2013. We boarded the flight and flight was on time. We got a superb welcome in the flight by the airhostess and we reached Goa Airport on time. We travelled in Innova to Mapusa and we stayed in hotel Saiesh intl.
This new year was different because I had no plans of going to Goa by bus or air, instead, I decided to join my friends on a road trip to Goa. The first thing that came up during early discussion was which is the best and shortest route to go to Goa by car. Since I haven't gone by a car on this route, the first thing I did was look-up to my team. There's one thread that comes up when you search for Goa to Bangalore driving directions, but that thread had way too much of information and every person had a different opinion, basically too much of information can be tricky at times. After a lot of so called research, we finalized the following:
I drove my newly bought Celerio Vxi to Goa as part of a bachelor party:-) and I must say that it was one of the best road trip I have taken in recent times. The road is bump free for almost 500 km and its the best track you can test yours and your car's capabilities. Anyone who has endurance and adventure spirit should take a road trip to Goa
