We travelled from Bangalore to Goa in two dusters. Travelling on highway till Hubli and then taking the road through Karwar. The highway journey could be covered in quick time, but watch for some badly marked speed breakers at certain junctions (1 or 2). The hilly drive through Karwar is lovely and scenic. Gas up from Hubli. Have a wonderful journey. CHEERS!

Recently I visited Goa with family, to be precise in January. We had driven along the National Highway connecting Bengaluru to Goa.

Day 1- We left Bengaluru at 06:00 hr and travelled via Tumkur- Kadur- Birur- Arsikere- Tarikere-Bhadravati- Shimoga- Sagar. We visited the famous Jog Falls and halted at Honnavar in an IB.

Day 2-We went to Gokarna Beach at around 5 am to witness sunrise. The beach was neat and not at all crowded. We also went to Murudeshwar where a giant statue of Lord Shiva is along the waterfront. Thereafter we left for Goa after lunch. It took just 3 hr to reach Goa and the drive was rather wonderful. We halted at a Government accommodation while at Goa on the outskirts of Panaji.

Day 3-7- Was spent in visiting the sublime beaches to include—Vagator, Calngue ,Anjuna and Miramar. All except Miramar were not that crowded. Miramar being a city beach is always crowded. We also visited Dona Paula where the old hindi film "Ek Duje Ke Liye" was shot. Dona Paula has a number of water sports to enjoy oneself. One should not also miss out on the cruises along the Mandovi River. The govt run cruise "Santa Monica" is recommended over the numerous pvt cruises. Keep a separate day for old Goa to visit the numerous temples and Churches.

Remember Goa is best enjoyed when you let it soak into you in a leisurely manner and drive in your own car. Hope this basic feedback is useful.

As you know, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Volvo, multi-axle club class buses make their punch line worthful "Sleep like a Baby''. It arrived at Navrang bus stop at 8 pm and reached Panjim at 8.45 am (little late) its a last-stop, very good experience and after dinner break I woke-up at 8 in morning and found I was in Goa. Journey was comfortable as you will be very relaxed for next morning programmes without rest.

We chose this airlines because we prefer this over the others and we were right about the airline. We had a fairly empty flight, the staff was very courteous and helpful. We flew on time and board a few minutes before time. The fight was clean and we were offered food and water on time. We would see the staff running on their tows at all times :)
