Timings are convenient for me and as well as price they are very competitive in the market now. Staff and crew are really friendly and they always ensure that customers are taken care properly. Connectivity to Airport in Goa is too easy. You have lot of taxis available for various corners of Goa.
An excellent bus journey you can always expect when you travel by Kadamba Transport Corporation - Govt. of Goa, especially from Goa to Bangalore or Bangalore to Goa. I had so far observed 4 good travel experiences from Kadamba Transport Corporation - Govt. of Goa. Good staff and courteous, they always care about traveller's comfort especially for kid and Ladies travellers. An affordable yet a great journey which is on time or some time before time you will arrive at your destination.
I am basically a frequent traveller from Bangalore. Apart from all the places I visited in India, I loved Goa the most as it has got the most beautiful beaches in India and mixed culture and amazing night life. Every time I visit Goa, I will travel by my car. I drive though Hublie and Dharwad and take turn toward Ponda near Dharwad. Although the road is not that good, with the excitement to reach Goa. I will push myself to drive that 160 Km stretch soon.
We have to drive though hilly area and Ghat Roads which is quite stress-full. There are lot of Dhabas from Bangalore till Dharwad and petrol pumps. Once using GPRS, I took a different once though Karwar. We have to take a diversion near Bankapur which connects Yellapur without connecting Hubli. It is a single road and not so safe during night time. I was able to reach in the early morning to Bankapur and while on the way I drove though the country side which made me see most beautiful locations on the way. We can visit Tibetian Monastery on the way. That was the one good thing I could see on the way. We can see amazing beach views near Karwar and after crossing Karwar we can visit Palolem which is the most peaceful and beautiful beach in Goa.
On the day of departure there was a delay which was was informed well in advance. Goa Airport even though it has expanded certain services are very poor. There is only one wash room for the entire departure area and we have to walk a long distance and wait for our turn. There was only one drinking water tap and there was no water supply. There is only one food out let with a long one and no choice for customers.
