Good roads. The 600 km journey just passed without stress. It was a non stop night drive with cousins. As you reach Karwar you get to see the sea, huge ships. If I ever go to Goa again it will be by Car. It is not very expensive to travel by car to Goa. I spent only Rs 5000 overall on fuel from the time I left bangalore till I reached. I reached back with half tank instead.

The flight was scheduled at 5 and supposed to reach Goa by 6:10 but it was delayed and took off at 5:20 PM. It landed at around 6:25 PM. In flight food was very expensive, I guess more than other low cost flights. But on the positive side they kept us informed regarding flight updates from time to time and managed to reach Goa before time.

If you are traveling by your own, it is good to start in the morning, it is not advisable to travel in the night, there are lots of robbery happening nearing the Goa border.

Also, make sure you have a friend who know the driving, you cannot manage to drive alone so far.

The places in goa are so awesome. you must go for the night life, you can completely enjoy by going to some Dhaba or pub or night party.
