Mode of Transport:Taxi
Most part of the roads were good except one belt for an hour. There are not enough good hotels on the way. Need an A/C car if you plan to travel during day and summer time. Weather is not so great between March and May. Petrol pumps are there. Not a greenery drive.

Mode of Transport:Bus
We travel from Bangalore city to Hospet by SRS luxury Volvo bus and it was very nice. We stayed for four days in Siddharth Residency as it was nice to visit. SRS buses are the best in providing service, those who visit Hospet.

Mode of Transport:Train
Boarded from Bangalore at 10 pm and reached Hospet at 7.30 am. The AC 2 tier compartment and the bathrooms were clean. For a change, the bedding was not dirty either. The return trip on the same train was equally convenient. We boarded the train from Hospet at 9 pm and reached Bangalore at about 6.30 am.

Mode of Transport:Train
I was pleasantly surprised to find buggies on the back platforms of Bangalore City Railway Station. The drivers were very courteous. Took me and my bag and left in platform no.6 near the place where B1 compartment will arrive. The train arrived from Mysore on time. But it runs late during the night and reached Hospet nearly two hours late. All our scheduled meetings got postponed. This train does not have pantry service. So we had to get dinner packets from the station itself.

Now the three tier compartments don't have curtains separating cubicles, may be for safety reasons.

They have pouches for mobiles. Otherwise when the mobile is charging, it is such a tension what if the phone falls. With the pouch the plug seems to fit well. From the train itself you can see the Bellary Fort nicely.

The whole scene changes as we are nearing Tungabadra-from sunflower, dates and barren lands to rice, sugarcane, banana and fertile land.

The road is great. But we got into a wrong road from Hospet to Chitradurg which was very busy with lot of trucks and it was a single lane. I think there is another better route. The Chitradurga-Bellary Road is much better and calm. I had a problem with my car and the Tata and Bosch service centres helped me a lot in resoling my issues promptly.
