Our bus journey was punctual, pleasant and the staff were helpful. It was a sleeper coach and was very comfortable inside and the births were pretty wide. The bus stopped at four - five points for taking rest and food stops. In the morning there is a stop for taking a loo break as well. We went to Munnar by taking NH 209 through Cumbum. We got to see lot of sightseeing like Thekkady, Surulli Falls etc. We had various food option around Cumbum and Munnar. The climatic conditions were awesome. It was very soothing ad relaxing for a very hectic work life. We visited during the month of August.
We boarded the train from Bangalore and then hired a cab from Cochin which was easy for us. Taxi driver was cooperative and took us to almost all good places. We spent some time in Moovatupuzha as well. Journey was not tiresome and enjoyed every bit of it.
We really stunned to see the hilly area in Munnar the biggest creativity of God. Tea gardens are worth to see and TATA Tea Museum, where they explain how the tea is manufactured. SRS travels from Bangalore to Munnar is good bus to pick. Good operator to prefer and picks up in night and journey kicks starts with good photo shots and enjoyable moments.
Opted for semi sleeper with friendly staff bus was neatly maintained. On time services. Please carry blanket while travelling in non AC bus. I would prefer KSRTC Bus or SRS which provide good service and well-behaved staff. Since journey hour is close to 12-13 hours request traveller to have their mobile charged in case of emergency.
