Nagpur is located at a distance of about 1,070 km from Bangalore. Nagpur, the 'Land of Oranges,' is well-connected to Bangalore by rail, road and airways. However, the best way to reach Nagpur from Bangalore is by air. You can reach Nagpur from Bangalore in about an hour and 45 minutes by boarding a direct flight.

My overall travel experience by flight was awesome. As we know travelling by flight is always exciting. We started travelling from Bangalore at 5 pm and reached Nagpur at 8. The flight co-ordinator was good and took total responsibility of every passenger. They were trying and also helped each and every passenger.
There is flight in morning at 6.25 am so you don't lose a day, there is return flight at 9.25 pm so get the entire day. It's no frills flight hence we need carry our own breakfast. You can further travel from Nagpur to any of Jungle location by Car. It take close to 5-6 hrs to reach Kanha and route is via the Pench forest. Please don't take any other route because you may end up spending close 7-8 hours unnecessarily.
Rajdhani express was comfortable, good suspension, fast travelling, limited stop, thus I booked 3rd AC. The service, food, bathrooms were good and the workers were co-operative and at last overall experience was good. Train was not late and people travelling in the train were also good.
My overall travel experience is good but not as I expected because of huge traffic problems. It is not easy to travel one place to another place by car and the transportation facility is very bad. The places are too far from one place to another. There is working going on in the metro.
A very small but a good airport and is not very far off from the main city. Around 7-8 kilometres from railway station. Good connectivity to most of the major cities. However plan to expand going on very slowly. Mihan seems to be distant dream.
