Mode of Transport:Bus
Travelling to a hill station, one should take a sleeper bus. The bus offered by SRS Travels was very much upto the mark. Spacious, clean and even offers privacy with curtains. There were a number of boarding points in Bangalore so it was quite convenient.

Travel started, by booking a Taxi and the car was SUV 7+1 Seater. And the journey started from home by early morning around 6:00 AM from our home. And car was brand new in SUV 2014 model, with superb comfort. By the way, our entire family was in that car. My dad, mom, brother with his wife and one child, and second brother, and I, so it was totally 7 People plus the driver. Driver was good and he was well-mannered. And his driving was great too. Not over speed and no unwanted over takes. So journey from our residence towards Ooty started and we picked route Via Mysore. So that route Via Mysore goes through the Wild Forest. So that was certainly a best route to be picked when you are going out to explore the beautiful nature and creation.

So we reached Mysore nearly about 10 am-11 am then we picked the route which is under forest authority which is the way towards Ooty. So the road was two way road but single road without a divider but the road was well-maintained and superb smooth. And while travelling we saw Elephants, Deer, Monkeys and some small small animals. There were areas where it gave warning that its the area of lion but we did not see them.

Then by 1:00 pm we reached our hotel in Ooty. Journey was great but slight tiredness was there. Then we got refreshed and then had lunch from hotel and then relaxed for a while. Then evening we went to see the beautiful garden, and also the boating we did. We enjoyed the weather climate in Ooty, cold with little drizzling of rain and also clouds hovering around the mountains, its just the perfect experience to be experienced us or train.

This journey must be in day time. The sightseeing of Ooty journey is excellent. The Neelagiri trees are very long and fragrance through out the journey. We saw elephants in the journey. Many people told that tigers also can be viewed in the journey. But we did not see tigers. We saw many deers in this journey.
