Have travel by own car.Road to Ujjain from Ahmedabad via godhra-dahod-rajgarh-dhar is under renovation.So we took Chota Udaipur-ali rajpur-kukshi Indore Ujjain route. it's long route but roads are nice.

The place is well connected by road and rail,Indore is the nearest airport. For Basmaharathi you can obtain pass from the temple office by filling out a form and enclosing a simple ID proof like DL,PASSPORT,RATION CARD OR ELECTROL ID XEROX copy but do not forget to carry the original also which will be verified at the time of issue of the pass.
