travel by train is comfortable as you can watch the clear sea water while the train runs on the Ram-sethu Railway bridge. Keep adequate smaller denomination currency, like 10, 20 & 50 rupees. Also coins for the beggers (only very few found there). Nothing much worry on your personal belongings as the place looks safe. Auto drivers are very co-operative and well mannered. They don;t charge much and they have some uniform pricing policy. Over all good place to visit...

It is good to book a priest in the hotel who will guide us through all the rituals in the temple. If you are planning to perform puja in the temple please be aware that it would take a couple of hours to see the deity.
