Took the flight option since that was taking the least amount of time, but later learn that the Airport is way outside the city. It would be good to travel by train or bus in case if you coming from Chennai. There are two Shatabdi's that run and it would be a good experience to travel in them. The Airport is good and all the required facilities.
I have booked up this travel for more than six times. Out of that five times they changed the seat and the bus that I got allocated through online booking.
If I book the seats in front they would put me in last row. If I book an AC bus they will come with NON / AC saying the bus met with an accident. If I book an Volvo Bus they will come up with sleeper class that too with the worst suspension.
When I asked for the reason they come up rudely with the reply saying that if you want to travel you can proceed or else cancel and this will be told when you step in the bus while boarding.
I din't find any problem in the service provided, but the only thing which I could complaint is that the service I book was A/C seater and it was changed to A/C sleeper. I generally don't prefer sleepers. They provided the WiFi but I don't think it was working.
Boarded the bus on 23-May-15 11 Pm at Koyambedu. It was an A/C sleeper. But A/C was not adequate. I could not even feel the A/C. I even asked the bus staff to increase AC. But he refused t. Even though it was a night journey, Bus stopped at 2 places and the staff was shouting and woke up all the passengers who was sleeping.
Bangalore is one destination most guys love to. If that's the case imagine going with friends on a weekend. As a icing to the cake. Its a ROAD TRIP. How can I explain in words the time and joy we had from the start to the end.
The most economical way to have full fun and joy. Is road trip with friends. We three of us drove the vehicle for few hours in rotational basis and reached our place with most comforts. Took breaks for lunch, coffee and natures call. Wow. Trip is always awesome with friends and enjoyed every moment.
