As usual a typical train journey. Train was noisy - non-stop chatter boxes - a team of middle aged women - never had the common sense. That train leaving by 6 Am many will continue their sleep. But for my pleasant surprise the train reached 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled time.
I have booked tickets in Shama Sardar Travels but I got seat in Geepee Travels. The bus was not punctual in reaching the destination. Started at 2:15 Pm and reaching at destination was 10:45 Pm. When I ask driver that you are late 1:30 hrs to destination. He was using unprofessional words to me. Very worst behavior of the bus staff and driver.
Took the flight option since that was taking the least amount of time, but later learn that the Airport is way outside the city. It would be good to travel by train or bus in case if you coming from Chennai. There are two Shatabdi's that run and it would be a good experience to travel in them. The Airport is good and all the required facilities.
I have booked up this travel for more than six times. Out of that five times they changed the seat and the bus that I got allocated through online booking.
If I book the seats in front they would put me in last row. If I book an AC bus they will come with NON / AC saying the bus met with an accident. If I book an Volvo Bus they will come up with sleeper class that too with the worst suspension.
When I asked for the reason they come up rudely with the reply saying that if you want to travel you can proceed or else cancel and this will be told when you step in the bus while boarding.
I din't find any problem in the service provided, but the only thing which I could complaint is that the service I book was A/C seater and it was changed to A/C sleeper. I generally don't prefer sleepers. They provided the WiFi but I don't think it was working.
