The best part in this entire journey is Karaikal railway station. It was a newly constructed railway station. It was very clean unlike other stations in India. The climate is very good. Karaikal is a very small town. The railway station is some 1km from town. We have to catch a bus or a auto to reach town. There are quite a few hotels in this town from here we can travel to other parts of Tamilnadu like Tanjore, Nagapattinam etc.
Wow an awesome journey by car. I fully enjoyed with my family and on the way the road side location was so good. But was little confused to get the correct way to Karaikal. This was a memorable travel by car. By-pass road was so neat but Sirgazhi road was so bad and that's why we got disappointed.
There is nothing much to say about the road trip. The roads were neat but, mostly, it had only two way lane. It took about seven hours which is very long for 300 km. If you are a religious person, you can visit Thirunallar Saneeswaran Temple which is four km away from this property. The sand beach is also excellent. Try taking a trip to the sea if you are not afraid. Mr. Magesh will help you do that.
