We enjoyed the travel in the bus. The staff were down to earth and good though the quality of the bus was bad. He stopped in between whenever there was a need. People can go for State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) bus as it is cost saving and we reached the destination on time. As it is a hill station for people having travel sickness it is good to carry lemon and citrus drinks with them.
AC in Kaveri travels buses are nice and comfortable to travel. While travelling there are enough rest stops but some people like old age people can't control toilets. Some time so it better provide one more extra rest stop, in halt station also wash-rooms and food canteens are also nice. But they are charging more money for service and my advice is to reduce some costs and it should be available for common and low class people.
Bus condition is good and conductor and driver are really helpful in guiding and answering the questions of the passengers. The bus engine is of good quality which sounds less and I recommend to travel by the above operator. The scenic beauty is very nice and it was a wonderful experience.
Chennai to Ooty by toy train was such a nice experience. The toy train starts after this Nilgiri Express reaches, Mettupalyam Station. It was good with very pleasant weather, very economical when I planned in advance, a weekend of 2 or 3 days is sufficient.
