To reach Manori take a train to Malad station (Western Railway), from Malad (West) take a rickshaw to Marve ferry point from where a ferry will take you to Manori village. Rickshaws & Tongas (Horse carts) are available at Manori village to take you to the beach or to the resort you are staying. Two wheelers are allowed on the ferry. If you want to reach by car take Bhayander – Uttan – Gorai route. Best time to visit Manori will be in winter season. It does see a fair amount of visitors on weekends but it’s far less when you compare it to Chowpatty beach or Juhu beach. However on weekdays it’s almost deserted.

Manori can be reached quite easily from Mumbai city : 1)By Rail: Malad-West (Mumbai suburb) is the nearest rail-head.Also can be reached from Borivali-West (Mumbai suburb). 2)By Public transport Bus: Mumbai\'s BEST bus number 272 plies from Malad-west railway station upto Marve beach. Also, BEST #269 from Borivali west takes you upto Marve village. Longer route exists from Bhayander (Mumbai - suburb railway) via Uttan village where state transport buses ply. 3)By Ferry boat: Once you reach Marve village, you can board a ferry boat to cross Manori creek which charges Rs.2 per person and Rs.5 per motor cycle one way. Last ferry boat runs till 23:45. Travel Warnings: The beach can be really lonely during some week-days. Advisable to carry own food on weekdays especially at morning or afternoons. An autorickshaw from Malad may not be the option if budget is your concern. The road to Marve village can be an example of typical heavy Mumbai traffic on week-ends !
