View of Kerala is wonderful always by train. Gods own country. But the train was halted for more than two hours because of road blockage by tree. So it was at kottayam for 2 hours. That was irritating. But overall journey was good. Food was not good as in Indian trains. It was horrible. Other facilities were fine and cleanliness also was the question. It can be managed.
It was too crowded and dirty compartments. The food was not upto the mark. After reaching TVM, we had to bargain a lot with the taxi fellows, it was frustrating. Overall travel experience was not happy one. Return journey was not so bad. Though we travelled by 3rd A/C the coach was not clean.
Nice to say about my experience that ever enjoyed during the way to Kovalam. Wonderful feelings, without any loss of freshness, with good services in quality and behaviour. Surely it attracted me a lot and thankful to be a part of the journey!!! Loll enjoys.
Overall good, but few pockets of very bad roads. Overtaking from the left, over speeding, etc. can be handled. But it was impossible when it came to vehicles coming towards you on the fast lane in the opposites direction. No enforcement of traffic laws. It seemed to me that the traffic police do not have any idea of traffic laws. Made a side day trip to Coonnoor. The roads nearly killed us.
