This is more to do with the airline. Not even a single Aisle seat or window seat is available at the time of web check-in. Even, calling the customer service 6 hours before the flight also does not help, as literally, the entire flight is paid seats (except for a few middle seats). This is totally unacceptable service. High time, the government steps-in and put these airlines in line.

The Indigo manager Ms. Rifat at Delhi Airport was exceptionally helpful, considering we had a situation . I really respect how she pushed herself to help us board the flight. I was travelling with a child, and though I had done a web check in, the staff at the airport kept sending me to the wrong counter, thus I was late by 2 mins at her counter where Baggage drop had to be made. While she initially said she couldn't help us, I recognise she realised the genuineness of the case and helped us, not only board the flight on time, but to ensure our bags flew on the same aircraft, though that was not even promised. Truly respect her and her team for going the extra mile.
Spice jet crew training standards have gone really low as while taking off no flight attendant bothered to check seat belts. For the whole flight duration, the guy sitting 2 seats next to me intentionally kept his seat belt off & no one really checked him on this. Every alternate window sheet was covered during take off, seats were not upright; & no one came to check all this. The attitude of crew seemed to be lousy, rather they were discussing other people & gossiping on the flight & that too in hindi. While debating also, instead of greeting the passengers 2 of them were chit chatting in the corner. It was not really a great experience. Miss jayanti was one such flight attendant having least interest in her job & continuously chit chatting on board & contributed in making a fish market over there. Kindly improve your training standards spice jet.
I booked my flight on " makemytrip" website to depart at 2. 10. However, the website did not specify AM or PM, so the flight I had mistakenly booked for middle of the night 2. 10 am! I missed it and went to the Makemytrip counter to complain and re- book. The person on the counter told me with a very straight face, that you follow Indian railway timings !!! Offered me an exorbitant fare, refused to re- book me and so you had a very unhappy customer who then flew on Indigo. Will never book Makemytrip again!
