We had booked A/c Volvo bus but you will be feel tired after reaching Jaipur. It's better if you try train. There are many train running between Delhi and Jaipur but you have to book ticket 20-30 days before. You can also board Shatabdi Express.
Jaipur is a beautiful city in which many palace are good for tourism. And the connectivity through Road, Air and Railway is perfectly good. We have taken NH-8 Road - Gurgaon. Road are okay not excellent. Reached Jaipur in 06 hours by road. We have taken halt near Manesar once.
Travelling by car was an awesome experience as we were able to see places nearby and we also stopped in some dhabas to have food. The roads are well-maintained so there was no problem while driving. Signboards were installed and we also used GPS for safety. We had a good experience while driving.
I travelled from Delhi to Jaipur the road was good, there is no need to open navigation app to find the destination. There is less traffic on road in comparison to any other tour. Trip to Jaipur is very much cheaper than other places. Our journey was comfortable. There are lots of refreshment points on road. Sightseeing places are very good.
I have been a new driver but all the colleagues showed confidence and finally I- Yes I drove to Jaipur. Awesome road. Toll are there and that's the reason the roads are very well-maintained. Above all this I would like to advice the travellers.
1) Avoid roads as traffic is very fast and no its not very safe. 2) Prefer Shatabdi and Other trains for Jaipur as there are many in every time (I will not say about flight as every one cant do that) 3)I personally don't liked the food over there. 4)You will not find courteous staff everywhere.
Happy Journey and YES please donít drink and drive. Think about your Family.
