Have a strong car, since the roads are not too good to reach. The hill station is 30 kms on the hill, so one might think that we are heading no where but just persist and u will reach Bhandardara. Go in the monsoons and u can feel the clouds in your face

1. Preferably carry an electric water kettle to make your own Tea/ coffee in your room in the hotel/ resort; 2. Carry a torch/ candle, as electricity supply is most erratic; 3. Carry your own Alcohol, as the place is ideal for a drink and lazily loitering around; 4. Two-night stay is ideal, if you can reach in your own car by noon. This way, you can enjoy nearby spots like Wilson Dam, Umbrella falls and Nature Park (2-km), and Randha Falls (7km) all of which are in the same line, in the noon/ evenings, keeping next day for 56-km drive around Lake, covering all major spots. 5. Engage a local guide (Rs. 300) for guided tour in your car covering almost all places; it is really worth, saving lot of time and energy. 6. Don’t forget to LOAD your car with locally grown lovely & fresh vegetables on your return journey!

Beautiful Monsoon Destination

Most practical way to go there is by your own, or hired vehicle. Just keep in mind there there are no Petrol Pumps for approx 50 km near Bhandardara. (also that is where the nearest public toilets are). Also, for the monsoon season, the resort gets booked out very soon, so plan very much well in advance.
