You can get a deluxe bus or a private taxi from Jammu. On way Rs.1000. Hotels range from 500 to 2000. If you want to stay in Govt. accommodation choose only dak bungalow rooms (800) or deluxe huts on the main site (1800-3000). Do not go to background huts. These are shabby. Bargain with the hotels. they may be cheap than what they ask.

You can reach over there by road transport like bus, car.If travelling makes you nauseatic than prefer to have pills with you.Woollen clothes are also must during winters.
