Road from Belgaum to Goa was a nightmare for almost half the trip of 150 km. Had to drive back from Goa to Pune via Amboli Ghats to save our Tyres (and bones)

Taking your own car or booking a taxi is the best thing to do as it keeps you mobile to be able to go out to pick up stuff and get back to the place.. else just reach the place and forget about everything untill you want to pack up ..
