From delhi, one can drive down provided the weather is fine. the roads are in good condition so driving won't be a problem. the distance from delhi is roughly 400 km. Other easier option is to take the overnight kathgodam express and hire a cab from kathgodam. From here, Binsar is roughly 2 hours away. Regular buses also ply from Delhi till Almora.
