As we were two passenger, my wife and I, so I hired Indica Taxi for 6 days as per my fixed schedule for 2 dham i.e Badrinath-Kedarnath. We started on 12.5.16 from Haridwar and via Devprayag-Rudraprayag. We planned to reach Joshimath but rain started with ice, on the first night we stayed at Pipalkoti. Next day on 13.5.16, on my 43rd marriage anniversary, we started early morning and got blessing from Lord Badrinath at 11.30 A.M and returned to Joshimath and stayed here.
Next day via karnprayag-Adi badari-Karnprayag, we reach Rudraprayag and stayed here for our 3rd night hault. Next day we reached Guptkashi and stayed our 4th night at a nice resort Himalayan Comforts. Next day in morning we reached KEDARNATH via HELICOPTER and got blessed and offered Abhishek inside temple and came back up to Srinagar and stayed 5th night here and on 6th day returned to Haridwar at 12.30 p.m. It was about 850 km tour in hilly area. Some area specially from Joshimath to Badrinath where road is Narrow and somewhat dangerous. But overall a thrilling and nice religious tour.

The road runs along the Ganga and its tributary, which makes driving along the route just as memorable as it is dangerous.
