Highway is very very good, it was raining when we were travelling, A/c on, music also on. In Digha, parking facility is good. On Highway road side green tree is very beautiful. In Digha city is very neat and clean. I love this place. I hope my review is helpful for others. Visit Digha with family or couple whatever you decide.
It was a nice journey travelling by SBSTC Bus. The bus staff were very polite and gentle. The condition of bus was good and also its interior was in good condition. The journey was smooth and the best part was that its was on time.
Howrah to Digha train was on time. It reached Digha at 10 :10 am. So no wastage on hotel fare, so I chose this train. Chair car was good but seats needs more space. IRCTC caterer's provide good quality food for breakfast and it was paid service. One must try IRCTC coffee which was for Rs 10.
We save a lot of time and the journey was comfortable as we travel by Duronto. Food was awesome and it takes only 3 and half hour to reach the destination. It was a good time pass journey and a great experience. Digha is a very good place. Went there by bus and took a local hotel to stay. The old Digha beach is a very good place to feel the beauty of sea. The new Digha is 1km away from old Digha. Local vans are available in plenty.
The location was awesome and especially the sea beach of Digha was a great attraction for the tourists. The atmosphere was so good and the couples were friendly and behaved like our own friend. But the road needs to be improved; otherwise a weekend in Digha is an awesome idea.
Wish you a very happy and safe journey and last but not the least, keep this tourist place as clean as possible (Incredible India).
