It was a very good experience travelling with friends for the most enjoyable and favorite location of mine, and that too it was night journey. I can't define it in my words but it was awesome. Even though it was risky travelling at night in car on highways, we took our precautions and it was our first rule too, to reach safely.

I have done Hyderabad-Goa road trip by Santro. We started at 2PM in Miyapur (Hyderabad). As Zappo suggested I took Humnabad -Gulbarga route to reach Bijapur. SH12 is too good and I covered Hyderabad- Bijapur in 6 hours (370 KM). We reached Bijapur at 8PM and checked into a decent hotel near Gol Gumbaz. As it was my first long drive I started hesitantly but after reaching Bijapur I felt comfortable.

Next day early morning we started from Bijapur towards Belgaum. Surprisingly we came across Krishna River before Chikodi. We have taken few photos there.

There is small junction after 2KM from Chikoti. If you take right turn here NH4 Jn. is just 22KM . We took right turn and its straight road till NH4.

You will meet NH4 Jn at Gotru, Belgaum still 46Km from here.

After reading lots of travelogues here we thought of taking Amboli route to Goa. But at last moment we took Khanapur, Londa route. Except few Kms bad stretch this road is good. We reached Panjim by 3PM. We covered Hyderabad-Panaji in 15 hours(Total 743 KM). awesome experience with friends.

Quite amazing. A short flight of almost 2.5 hours, but perhaps the best 2.5 hours of my life. It was a Jet Airways ATR aircraft with a capacity of ~100. My mum and I were flying for the first time in our lives, so we were pretty enthusiastic. We entered the flight quite early and after settling in, I went to have a peek at the cockpit, and was astounded at the sheer number of the dials and controls in there. The pilot was nice enough to let me have an extended look, and every flight I've been on since, I try to peek into the cockpit.
