Travel was very good and the view from Ghat section was very good. The construction activity on Ghat section makes it more comfortable for future travellers. People with motion sickness should prepare themselves for the Ghat section. We saw good range of fresh fruit stalls along the way.
First time drove for 48 Kms in Palani Ghat to Kodaikanal. It was very thrilling. Roads are narrow but was in good conditions. If you go by car during day time, you can enjoy the nature, scenic beauty in the valley. Fruits and vegetables are on sale. Small restaurants are located for refreshment. On the way you can see the big falls.
Travelling by bus is a good experience. We enjoyed a lot. Road facilities are very good. After reaching it was a wonderful experience about journey. From start to end, the journey is good. Behaviour of staff is also good.
We enjoyed with family in sleeper class on the way our children enjoyed the greenery, rivers and green field, different people and culture. One bad thing in reservation coach, there is no security on the way because lot of general passenger entered and sleeping middle way, near toilets it is very uncomfortable for ladies and children.
The flight was on time. The staff was also good and co-operative. The washroom was really small. The plane was small with a capacity of 100 people. The seat was not that comfortable. There was no food served on the plane so carry your own food with you. Small planes don't fly high and goes to a height of 24000 ft.
