As we know Srisailam is covered with hill and forest, so we have to look for safety first, I would prefer Yellow Cabs Hyderabad or Red Cabs Hyderabad, I used these two taxi operator and my experience was good. Always better if you start in morning hours from Hyderabad. Jai Lord Siva.
Opt for Belum Caves then Mahanandi and then Srisailam. This will add value to your journey. The roadway is got a number of sharp bends. Journey is very exciting. In a private car while coming from SSM, after Tiger safari, you can able to look out for Deers.
Srisailam was just an awesome place for all those who love nature. Overall a very good experience. It was very pleasant, if you go once you will like it. The road way has got good number of sharp bends and the journey was very nice. Try to be in Munnar by 5.00 am.
Our trip was during holidays, so it was hard to get the reservations. Bus quality was OK. We started from Hyderabad at 23:00 hrs. Distance between the points is around 230 km but as the road passes through Nagarjun Sagar Srisailam Tiger Reserve which is kept closed at night (21:00 hrs to 06:00 hrs) there was a night halt in between.
Travelling by RTC was just good and the bus came late actually than the said time. Bus has good seating and a nice TV. The route in which we travelled was too good. We had a good halt station and we took a refreshing gap in-between the journey. The food at halt was not so good and also not so bad.
