Srisailam is around 200 KMs from Hyderabad and there are many buses run by RTC and private & government.can be reached in 4 to 5 hours by car.One shold avoid night driving as it is a ghat road.

On some holy days, there is huge crowd. Advance booking always necessary. There are number of state transport buses from Hyderabad. But you can choose 2 x 2 bus instead of 3 x 2 as 3x2 is very clumsy. Hyderabad to shi shailam takes more than 5 hours. You get reasonable rice and sambar where the state transport bus halts for food.

Saileshwaram temple, located in Nallamala forest
Its exactly 77kms away from Srisailam. Reaching there is a problem because the temple is open only once yearly. Also, in the deep forest, we have to walk at least 6-8 kms. That is a dangerous thing as we could attacked by tigers or bears at any time during the walk.
