Reach Jorhat by flights from Kolkata & Guwahati. Taxis available at high prices. airport is 8 Km away from city and they charge -300-400/- for airport drop. there are no evening flights from jorhat. take sufficient cushion time between flights.

Located on the banks of Brahmaputra , its about 13 kms from Jorhat. Regular Buses are available to Neematighat. From there, the boats takes you to the island and gets back too. Its a safe place for family. Suggest to visit during winters only.
