Preferable mode of transport - Hire a car from Chandigarh - self driven Taxis are expensive. You will spend more on travels within the city if you dont have a self driven vehicle as places are far off. While travelling on a horse, be ware that the saddle is well tied. Shopping prices are very fixed however you can pay the amount as the people there are honest and helpful. They usually ask what the product is worth unlike other tourist destinations.
