A 6-hours drive by road; Shatabdi too is convenient. The drive towards Dehradun is quite pleasant, with the famous 'daat kaali' mandir at the entrance. Mid-way between Delhi and D'dun is Cheetal- a very beautiful and clean stop for snacks and rest.

6 hours by traing from Delhi, 1 hour by flight from Delhi. May carry some thermals in winters, as it is very cold. Remember, it snowed in Dehradun in late 70s/early 80s.
