Wonderful and an Exotic destination

Post by Pranav

It is advisable to do only window shopping one first day and then decide the worth of any item for yourself. Avoid purchase on houseboats on day 1st of travel as they will be somewhat costleir, unless u are aware of market rates in advance. Bargain on any item may range from 20-35% of the mentioned cost, except on fixed price shops, though we observed that 2-3 shops of fixed price were too unreasonable and had elevated prices upto 40-50%. Dont bring too many cherries boxes in handbags on airport, as only one box per person is permssable. Indeed one can keep as many cherry boxes in their suitcases. Strictly avoid carrying handbags for in flight travel as one will go a rigrous checking with consumption of lots of time on Srinagar airport. One may keep their valuables, cash and milk bottles of children in one handbag. On the day of return from srinagar through Flight, leave your hotel atleast 3 hours before for airport (especially if u are with family) as there is rigrous checking (of all the luggages and individuals) at one point before airport (leading to Jams and excessive rush) and at 2-3 points inside airport. On an average a family may need atleast one hour inside the airport only to reach final clearance point.
