Spending time with family in a hill station is so good. This year I planned my trip to Kodaikanal with family members. Right from the start till the finish it was an enjoyable trip and we travelled by car.
We started by morning 7 and reached Woody's by around 4 in the evening. We traveled via Alathur, Kollankode, Palani. On the way had breakfast and lunch and there were small towns and nice hotels on the route. We next went for sightseeing in Kodaikanal. First stop was Coakers Walk. Itís a walk way on the top of a hill. There was so much mist and fog which made was difficult to take any pictures. From Coakers Walk we can see the Kodaikanal Market area and the Pine forests. The journey was nice and everybody enjoyed it.
We visited many places en-route and it was awesome for us as we enjoyed a lot during our trip to Kodaikanal and from there we visited Thekady and then to Munnar. We covered all these high ranges in one trip as we had a good vehicle to travel.
This route has:
Kochi - Dhanushkodi Rd/Kochi-Madurai-Tondi Point Hwy/National Highway 49
